The 3-in-1 Filter Cartridge offers efficient filtration through a unique waterfall design that oxygenates the water to promote healthier and more active fish, while reducing splashing to keep the return exceptionally quiet. The adjustable flow allows you to reduce flow for betta, shrimp, plants, or other low-flow needs without compromising filtration efficiency.

Delicate fish, such as bettas and goldfish, require a more gentle water flow, as strong flow can cause them stress and difficulty in swimming. If the flow is too strong, the fish will prefer to stay in one area and avoid certain sections.

The no-mess filter cartridge changes the biological, mechanical, and chemical filtration in one fully assembled and ready-to-use unit. It can be easily slid out for quick maintenance, and you can customize it to suit your specific needs. The pre-filter sponge prevents small fish, shrimp, and debris from getting sucked up, purifies the water of waste chemicals, and adds more mechanical filtration, keeping your filter media cleaner for longer.

The leveling knob is used to adjust the filter against the tank, ensuring the water level in the filter is not at such an extreme angle as to cause spillage. The patent-pending priming system allows the filter to auto-restart if the power is interrupted and restored.

If the filter stops working, check if the impeller is clogged. Use tweezers to gently remove the impeller, rinse it, clean the impeller chamber, and then gently put the impeller back into place, making sure it rotates freely.

The filter can be fitted on framed fish tanks by gently pulling the intake tube to fit on the rim, but it does not fit framed or frameless aquariums thicker than 0.4 inches. It is important to fill the filter with water before plugging it in, as the pump must not run dry. The minimum water level in the tank should be no more than 1 inch below the aquarium rim.

If the priming process doesn't occur, verify that all parts are installed correctly and firmly, fill the water in the filter case and fish tank as much as possible, and ensure the flow control valve is firmly installed and in the position of maximum flow.

The filter may become loud due to the leveling knob needing adjustment to reduce vibration, air not evacuating from the filter, the aquarium water level being lower than normal, or the impeller being worn and needing replacement.

The slim filter is available in both external and internal configurations, with varying dimensions, maximum output, and power consumption suitable for aquariums up to 10 gallons.
